A lovely piece.

I was judgemental at first because I had imagined a much more colourful handle. Mine was subtle...black with gold bands. I had hoped the gold bits would be more colourful....but then one night I looked at the handle and saw light in it, reflecting. I was impressed by the subtlety of it! The blade is fabulous but the engraving could be a bit bolder next time.

My purchase of the Tsuki Damascus Chef's Knife

I put off for a long time with the purchase of the Tsuki Damascus Chef's Knife. It's hard to commit to a purchase of an item such as this without first touching it, feeling its weight and so on. I am so glad I went through with this purchase. I have never felt a more balanced knife as this before. Then when I used it, I was hooked. It was super sharp and very responsive. I look forward to looking at other purchases in the future.

I cook daily for a big family and these demascus chef knives cut through all meat and veggies like butter.

Almost perfect

The knife sharpens and cut very well and its beautiful. My only disappointment is with patter. Demascus steel is what is advertised but that's not what it looks like on arrival. Its more like wavey metal without the constrast.
